Singapore

1980s, engineers are in demand, commanding high salaries.

1990s, boom of the internet, many IT professionals were required.

2000s, bankers earn obscene salaries, until the recent financial fallout.

2010s and beyond???

I am wondering, which group of professionals will be the most tantalizing next?

Doctors? Coz people will feel so stressed with the economy downturn, and with the weather nowadays, together with the recent vegetation fires, people's health will deteriorate. And more will flock to the doctors. :P

senior bankers have alway been earning alot of money...and it will continue......no doubt [lipsrsealed]

and not to mention the huge amount of pension... [sweatdrop]

an old friend of mine recently retired from the bank and got himself a good pension.. bought a landed property using part of that pension.. without dipping into any of his savings.
