It will be flat just like last bidding... +/- $500 difference.. Car dealers did not up their price so high... anyway.. COE will plunge again once alll this drama of COE cut will be over.. Likely June onwards will be a spiraling trend from there.

I think it will be lower than last month. My guess:

Cat A : $3500

Cat B : $3500

Cat E : $5000

btw, does anyone know when Toyota Altis from BM will be in stock? I am still waiting to get my keys. In addition, how come i cannot start a new topic one huh?

Estimate again tomorrow after 12pm onwards. Right now is still too early.

Turbocharged

STI is dropping below 1500 anytime. With some many unfavorable economy news, I don't think demand for COE will be higher than last month. Price will be lower.

Seems like nobody interested anymore.

OK, let me start the thread.

My estimated:

Cat B : $7398

Cat E : $8128

Lim Sweet Sweet say this quarters got 10,000 retrenchments.

DBS say 99,000 by mind 2010.

Assuming that one quarter of the 99,000 retrenched are car owners and decided not to buy a new car and keeps driving their old cars.

Just nice the COE quota cut of 26,565 is slightly more that the figure, thereby creating a lower supply vs demand ratio.

So it can only means the COE will not crash!

It will slowly go up as those still with jobs, and having cars reaching 5years or more will surely want to buy new replacement cars!
