Rims Dust repel - does it work?

Hi all,

 

Recently i was looking around at Carrefour, i saw this product where it claims that after washing your rims, you apply the item on the rims, it repels brake dust and dirt.

 

I was wondering if anyone tried such a product before? My car's brake dust is tremendous, 1 drive out and my rims are filled with them

using a good wax is better

Yea, what brand/product is this?

Sounds interesting and if it works, will save ALOT of washing esp for those using dusty aftermarket pads :)

if this thingy gets into your brake rotor ....likely it will repel from braking power too...you wanna try and tell us?

Same prob or GS300 brake pads too, very grippy but very dusty... ... after changing to PMU NS brake pads. Problem solved. Don't know if have for your car model. You may wanna check with SSW or Lim Tan... ...
