Its not juz in MCF. In other local news website i also find it damn irritating. It blocks out all other links

The mini is a pest.

Totally puts me off too. You can temporarily cut the pain by clicking on the "x" on the main ad, which would then allow you to click on the links.

but then tink back, they help contribute to the running cost..so juz endure.

It's does makes it look like some insects crawling around the screen....... but having said that, I wouldn't mind driving a Mini JCW series....

I understand the need for advertising dollars. But at least make the 'X' closing icon work when reader decided to close the advert.

 

I deleted my remarks after being able to close the animation later on. but now cannot close it again and again. Clicking it first time nothing happen, clicking 2nd time I am directed to the stupid Mini website. That really turn people off!
