Boyboy 1st Gear February 25, 2009 Share February 25, 2009 i'm not medically trained or experienced but some of these seem to be aggravated by diet. maybe u could minimised symptoms by doing more research into this. avoid certain foods, and see what supplements can help wish u all the best and good health.
Shiwao Clutched February 25, 2009 Share February 25, 2009 ok, my take, 1) IBS - it can be treated. 2) Is it because of the food you took? That's one area to look it for your inflamation symtoms. 3) Bone density - you can try to take calcium pills, but consult with doctor for proper opinion. Also, can try take collogean, but note need to take long term to see the effect. The main thing is to get it under control and look for ways to treat it.

Yes, I have food allegy. I cannot eat chicken meat. If eaten, will have rashes and IBS. Once in a long while I still do eat chicken but after that must pop pills to prevent the attack. In fact, from the x-ray taken, there is too much calcium deposited in my back bones causing it to be rounder in shape rather than square. No cure at all, only daily stretching and medication lessen the pain.

Not sure how much my savings will last me. SG medical cost is really scary esp when I have to visit different specialists. Is there any all-in-one specialist??? Shiwao Clutched February 25, 2009 Share February 25, 2009 ermm.. ok, that's a chicken and egg issue. but the essentially thing is to stay positive and with stay with the treatment. well, too much calcium isn't a good thing. you might want to try pilate excercise. it does help with problems like yours.

Aftermarket I mean, other than Medishield.... Paiseh, I think too much about poison already. If you got MyShield or AIA Health Shield, it would be very good.

Paiseh, I think too much about poison already. If you got MyShield or AIA Health Shield, it would be very good. My Wife was previously from AIA and tried to apply for AIA Health Shield before. They rejected my application almost immediately thru letter. They see the number of illness I have + other accidents + hospital stays, I tink they also afraid. Now seeking wif my Pru agent fren to see if they willing to accept me.
Adrianli Hypersonic February 25, 2009 Author Share February 25, 2009 Buy medicine from JB. The cost of illness is from medicine. Consults don't factor much. Is it safe??? The SGH specialist recently prescribe an expensive medicine for my back. Cost me S$200+ when I went to collect it from the phamarcy!!! I almost fainted and thatz just for 3 mths. I'll return to cheaper medicine. Next visit gona tell her that. But with medicine, the specialist warned me, my dosage needs to increase as time goes on. Coz my body will build up an immu system to the medicine I take.

It is very difficult to get cover once you have been diagnosed. If they accept you, either they will be a lot of loadings, ie higher premium or they will be a lot of exclusions. TS, sorry to tell you this but what your situation is not favourable for insurance coverage. You buy insurance BEFORE the onset of any medical problems and not buy insurance to pay for your medical bills. Should you buy insurance now, ALL your existing symptoms will NOT be covered. It will only insure you for FUTURE illness which is not affecting you NOW. ↡ Advertisement
