More struggling to pay credit card bills, personal loans on time

Channel NewsAsia - Wednesday, February 25SINGAPORE: More consumers in Singapore are struggling to pay their credit card bills and personal loans on time.

According to data from the Credit Bureau Singapore (CBS), the percentage of consumers who missed at least one payment on their credit cards climbed from 1.45 per cent in September 2008 to 1.67 per cent in December 2008.

A year back in December 2007, the delinquency rate stood at 1.48 per cent.

However, CBS said these figures still remained well below the highs registered during the SARS downturn when the average delinquency rate was 2.6 per cent.

very unreasonable for her to request for maintenance way beyond their means.if she can afford to do so,use her own $ lar,why ask her former hubby to maintain her current lifestyle.

Neutral Newbie

[sweatdrop] Best thing...she going to appeal!!! Maybe the judge can then claim her excessive lifestyle is ridiculous and make her pay her husband compensation?

As always though...lets not look at 1 side of the story...for all we know, the father couls have a meimei on the side, hence the vendetta...

It's quite encouraging to see a Judge running down the divorcee in the story. A couple of my friends had their ex-wives ripping their bank account apart when one or two are dating other guys who are even richer. What maintenance?

Hopefully such Judge will kill some women of their mentality of "my money is my money, your money is my money too".
