Maroon5 5th Gear March 9, 2009 Share March 9, 2009 U r not alone, bro. My place also like that. Early last year, fence up the place. Then nothing happen (at around this time the primary school rebuild project nearby started demolishing the old building). Few months later, some guys came and dug one hole and nothing happened for another few months again. Few months later, some guys came again to pour cement into the hole...then, u guessed it... project stopped again. Recently, they start to work very fast...come everyday. But i think they will be stopping work again soon cos i see fewer and fewer workers everyday. Now the primary school already build till 5th level. I don't know what those lift upgrade people are doing... build 1 lift slower than other people build a whole building??? But i'm holding my fire right now. Cos they did mention that the lift upgrade will take 2 years. Let's wait and see. anyw last week my area was in the news - the tampines lift "innovation" for the walk-up aptms....same like you for the past few weeks suddenly work picked up....even sat mornings 10am can hear the drilling and noise...the space in front of my unit is very congested for the lift works...hope it can complete soon...somemore u know la the old estates the original lift speed is really haha ↡ Advertisement

Nutsack Clutched March 9, 2009 Share March 9, 2009 I'm too newbie to start a new topic. So have to hijack this thread, sorry. My problem: Aircon compressor is leaking water AND oil covering the floor and stuff underneath it with oil and water. It's very frustrating. It's a toshiba system, and I'm looking for someone to repair something like that. I've got no contacts and contractor that fixed it for my mom is no longer "in the industry". Any recommendations? Quotes? Thanks!
Ichibawa 5th Gear March 9, 2009 Share March 9, 2009 At my place I wish they had not done the upgrade. Seems more like a downgrade for me. At my block there use to be 2 lifts stopping at 3 floors after the upgrade, they took out one and install a lift that stops at every floor. Now the efficiency of the lift reduced by more than 50%. Sometimes I need to wait longer if someone is holding the lift.
