Met my buddies in camp and told me about the digital tuner for car. Quality is good and there's no hissing sound, just use aux out to the digital tuner. Surprisingly as he told me that there are a lot of other radio station which he helped to installed before, e.g. Bollywood station.

I'm just curious that if there's anyone install this before. Would like to know more abt it tho.

Ya. The sound is similar to CD quality but I am not sure if you are using the AUX function.

There are around 20 stations, including local station like 95, 933, 98 and 97.2.

I am also thinking to install digital tuner as well since I prefer a mix of CD and radio music for variety! I would like to hear more feedback about it like reception etc...

Interesting.

Is it possible to have it fitted on a JDM head unit?

Current JDM head unit is unable to display correct radio station, reception is also extremely bad.

i am on DAB now.. clarity of course better than FM , plus you get traffic updates and song titles... however no reception in tunnels and some MSCP... other than that ,it is good..

Let me ask my friend what brand they carry and I shall search through the google. Knowing that there are quite a few of Digital Tuner for different prices.

Digital tuner is an external device whereby you select the station from there, then the cable is connected to your HU via AUX input. I guess that your car should be fine.

I guess that in tunnel, switching to HU tuner is fine tho. :)

"Revo" DAB and the other is "Pure Highway" both are from UK.

Had been using the latter for awhile. Transmittion is clear, but cannot compare to CD la... [thumbsup]

Yeah. Thats the expensive brand as told by my friend. Around 300+?

Might not be able to answer your 2nd qtn because the shop he work from ordered, not him.

Im still waiting for his reply regarding to the brand of the digital tuner. There's one expensive brand: Revo. The other, I have to wait for his sms reply.
