Altivo 3rd Gear February 11, 2009 Share February 11, 2009 BTO flat.... nicer design and the fact that the punggol waterway is coming soon are the excuses for the high prices. Buy Sengkang lah... it's cheaper

Mcf777 Turbocharged February 11, 2009 Share February 11, 2009 current old 4 or 5 rooms in punggol is selling at least S$50 to 100K more
Raiders Neutral Newbie February 11, 2009 Share February 11, 2009 price is overkilling, 3 years ago one of relative buy at less than 200k. Imagine paying 300k for a 95sqm flat while development and progress of that town is still a uncertain time frame required before you start seeing the value of those flats. And not to mention the area is far from town (my personal view). Although is nearer to the proposed town but i dun think is worth as a investment with the price + loan unless we're toking abt full payment.

Speed_ong Clutched February 11, 2009 Share February 11, 2009 (edited) Actually Punggol is quite near City. Use KPE and it just take 15 mins to reach City. Also near to airport. Link by TPE, CTE and SLE. Punggol flats also looks nicer than the older estates. More like private condos. Drive in and take a look at the flats there. You will be surprise if you never go down there for a long time. Comparing to Sembawang, Woodlands or Yishun. Punggol is actually nearer to town. Then again, everyone has their own opinion. By the way, I stay in Sengkang not Punggol. Edited February 11, 2009 by Speed_ong
