Bro really nice car u have there.

Care to share the fc and the performance?

FC averages 8.5 km/l to 9 km/l and i travel 80% normal roads not highway. On Highways it can go up to 10.5 km/l. Performance is on par with the 2.5 L Turbo Forester but now still running in my boost is set conservatively to max to 1 bar and it is already fantastic. For JDM i think boost can go up to 1.2 bar.

If not for the pricing definitely a highly recommended buy.

Anyone knows the selling price for new car of year 2006, 2007 and 2008?

There is a used car registered in Jan'06, selling at $43K, not sure if it's a good buy.

Now selling max gets 3K to 5K above paper, you figure how much you want the dealer to earn lor.

Well then how's the sound proofing?is it good? I'm looking at the 2.0X version & Rav4 too.I realise that there's alot PI Rav4 version on the road more than BM version. Why is that so ah?

Welcome to the family of Subaru Forester......just enjoy your ride.

IMHO, its a good price and a good buy compare to buying a CRV or RAV4 which are much more EX.

Besides, for new SUV buyer who think Forester is expensive...maybe, one can look into a Jap-made Vitara or even China or Korean SUV. Frankly speaking, Price for brand new Forester to drop below $60K, i think it will never ever happened unless Subaru is made in China or maybe in your dream [:p]

anyone got the 2.5 forrester?? full loan $800 plus, road tax is $1,700 plus plus... [sweatdrop][sweatdrop]

If 2.5 is too [sweatdrop] for you....its better to look at 2.0 [thumbsup] having lower roadtax and of cos lower monthly installment...if 2.0 still [sweatdrop] , maybe you can look at Rush 1.5 or Terios 1.5 [rolleyes]

Sound Proof Ok... I am not too fussy...

Reason for choosing new Forester instead of new RAV4 becos

Bigger boot space.

low road tax

more sporty with grille front

Bros,

2.0X can get for 68K. How much is the 2.5XT? Additional 10K? Current promotional price from MI is 80K. Would it go under 80K with the current trend?

[confused]

Hi,

I am interested in a '09 oe new Forester, and would like to seek some feedback from current owners:

- Where is the Forester made?

- I have come across owners in US complaining rattling interior, any issues encountered by local owners?

- In terms of reliability, any issues?

- Any comments on service charges by local AD?

Than you in advance for the comments !

Cheers.

Seems that the new Foresters here brought in by MI are auto transmission. Anyone tried enquiring about the manual transmission Foresters from MI or PIs? Should be so much more fun.

- I had a 08 impreza which rattles (interios) like no body business. The forester interior looks like the impreza (to me), so my guess that is the same. It even has the rattling boot cover. If you are particular about these little noise, then try better makes.

- just a hint, all the catches at the A,B,C pillars are loose and they latch on to the metal frame... :) they rattle. More catches are also used in the boot, so they rattle as well...
