Hi all,

I personally find the new JB CIQ more efficient than the old one. For those of us who have used the old CIQ for ages, you actually see less congestion, less opportunity for people to cut queue and traffic is also more orderly.

Those things that I found attracting alot of attentions are the curvy upbridge, white cards, high humps and longer route to places than one used to visit like the City Square.

However think about the previous situation where cars like to cut queues right infront of the custom booth. About the white cards, they are more generous in giving white cards I thought, some custom officers are also kind enough to give you some at the booth. The new CIQ also eases up congestion that used to ply infront of City Square. Going to Tebrau City is also smoother from new CIQ.

Going back to SG via new CIQ is also better. No longer we see side mirror brushing each other and beggers walking dangerously before the custom booth.

The overall experience is good [thumbsup].

Regards,

agree...

i like the drive that coming back... like coming down from Genting.... very NICE [thumbsup]

Not very nice when being blocked by coaches leh...They need a much wider turning radius, those by their side and immediately infront have to watchout for them. They can eat into your lane...

What a coincidence! 66.6% felt that the new JB CIQ is more efficient than the old one based on current poll result [thumbsup].

One thing I do noticed is the the officers are much more friendly than before [thumbsup].

Now that U mentioned, :) standards have improved definitely.

Good that they are making all the necessary efforts to hasten the in-out pro processes of vehicles..

Less jams, means less fuel burnt, less time waste, more efficient..

It looks like we need to have a Poll for the SG CIQ then [laugh]. Wonder what would the result be?
