Mahjong74 Supercharged December 18, 2014 Share December 18, 2014 If I didn't needed the 100% cannot fail motor, I would have bought from taobao, ownself install But the level of care and skill that gets into the installation for me was insane Mine is a 6m tall x 4 wide It cost me 500 to get a scalfolding in, so I needed the motor to be 100% They took 30 mins to erect the scalfolding 3 hours to install 4 hours to do calibration That Malay supervisor is really a perfectionist! Solid guy! I can't see where it was not straight That fellow could see Keep getting his 2 guys to do again, again and again Really solid guy! They use the motor call somfy I think Yes the malay supervisor is damn good and responsible. He also get his guys to redo for my room again because of a little bit out of alignment. And I can't see with my naked eyes. The motor I think got a few types, same as their roller blindes. Commercial and normal grade. Go for the commercial grade if you willing to pay a bit more ↡ Advertisement

So I bought 5 spares like 6 months ago. $#%@@#$! that day my batt ran out so I took out the 5 spare batt. All got no power except one!!! waste my money. It's a Jap brand. M-something. Can lithium batt run out of juice while in storage? next time I will stick with the Sony brand. Actually that batt model quite hard to find one. Basically for tubular motor, the only difference is whether is a mechanical limit switch motor or a built in receiver motor, where the setting of the limit is done by remote control or using a key to tune the upper or lower limit. The battery life span depend on the usage unless you got yourself a lemon.

Or bec manual ones always pichar? motorized blinds is due to convenience......press a button and you can juz ignore it and do your own stuffs. Some with home automation, you can preset the timer or using sensor to operate but all this come with a much higher cost.
Kxbc Turbocharged December 19, 2014 Share December 19, 2014 bro mustank, is yours roller blind or wooden blind? if it is roller blind, motorised it quite overkill lah. but if it is wooden blind, sure need it to be motorised as anything above 2+m height is super heavy to pull.

A_korusawa 5th Gear May 10, 2015 Share May 10, 2015 Anyone made this kind of blind before ??? 2 tone with blackout option ... usually 2 type of origin : Korea and China. Any price info to share ? Thanks i just got this on my roof top room.... materials came from korea.... but its only meant for indoors and the length is limited to 2.5m coz its weight (double layers)...... I have z-wave installed with the power, thus I can up & down with wifi, and using remote for the flip-up 2 tone as well. btw, I also have all my house's roller blinds installed with z-wave to the power/remote source so that you can also manage them with wifi besides remote provided.... cheers! ↡ Advertisement
