This is the funniest thread on MCF ever.

Posters talking about their speeds on the NSH.

Ha ha Ho ho.

They must be talking about their speeds while fast asleep.

Also 1 metre apart at 220kph.

What a joke.

Get real the lot of you.

When talking about your average speeds from Sing to KL or Sing to Thai border where is the start and end point before or after toll booths.

Do you include stopping for petrol.

And don't tell me you do these speeds at night.

What about the chance of pot holes or animals crossing the road, yet you can still supposedly drive at these speeds.

No one ever been caught by TP, it would have been blasted over the TV news.

Jokers the lot of you.

While so many on here talk about road hogs on the NSH yet you 'speedsters' can still average higher speeds than F1 cars or NASCAR cars. What, do you drive at 250 right up to the back bumper of the road hog without lifting off the accelerator, knowing that he will pull over in time. Jokers.

Ha ha ho ho.

And still you are doing speeds greater than 250kph and only use the outside lane, i.e. 15 feet of road width.

Ha ha ho ho.

Get a life the lot of you.

This is a car forum not bragging about your dreams forum.

Flame away.

I know what I think of you.

I think your post is structured around your own car... with your car maybe it's dreaming but some of the cars can do those speeds easily..

It's okay dont' take it too hard.. life is not always fair

Anything above 180km/h..... I make sure there's nothing infront me ...... for at least 200 to 300m.

All it needs is some idiot lorry, bus, or sotong driver to filter out into my lane and its over..... even at such safety distances, I sometimes still have to brake like mad to avoid a colllision because these idiots will filter out suddenly and move so slow. (like 90km/h)

Usually, if I'm coming fast on the right lane and if I see trucks, coaches or tall vehicles on the left, I will start to turn on "TURN RIGHT" signal from a distance. This is to warn them that I'm coming fast on lane 1.

Some of these tall and long vehicles have the tendency to overtake or switch lane abruptly, whether they did turn on signal or not. Another reason is, the immediate tall vehicle on the right usually hider your view of what are infront of it, it could be another row of coaches or trucks. So best to play safe.

Totally agree with you on this. Better to assumed there are a row of vehicles in front of that truck than otherwise.

i ever encountered one guy driving his Sunny cruising 110-120km/hr on the right-most lane.

every single cars overtook him from the left, some even went at the same speed side by side and stared at him.

Didn't want him to roadhog other drivers anymore.

Thus when it came to my turn, i give him a few quick flashes. No response. Few light taps on my horn, still no response.

LLST no choice, overtake from the left. He still look forward like nothing has happened.

OMG, i can't believe such a person exist in this world.

i think i met this sunny before also..

I read in an European autombile magazine that mentioned about the un-written rule in AutoBahn...saying that he was test driving an Audi and when you see a BM/Merc appearing on your rear mirror, you will shift to the slower lane to let them pass. Likewise if the BM/Merc drivers were to see a Porsche appearing in their rear mirror, they will also move to the slower lane.

But if it is a VW on the fast lane and comes behind, just don't look at the rear mirror. [laugh]

They have some classification for sedan when it come to certain make, lowest in the ranks are Korean, Japs, Ford, Renault and even VW are in then follow by Audi then Merc/BMW

hmmm..have you tried driving on NSH before?

If you've driven there before, you should know that it's not uncommon for cars(SG plated and local alike) to hit 180kmh..you will also have seen cars that go in excess of 200kmh..which again, is not uncommon also..

personally, i've gone up to 150kmh..but decided not to go any higher because i have my family in tow..

and YES..there are alot of cars who drive until almost kissing the rear bumper of a hogger simply because the hogger refuse to give way..
