Guides to remove Head-unit from latio

hi bros,

 

any one knows the steps/guides to remove the head-unit from car? My ride is a latio.. been searching for the AUX-In but its at the rear

of the HU.. so wanna take it out myself to gain access to the rear AUX in.. anyone able to help? :)

Thanks.

 

1. Use a flat screwdriver to slide in between the gaps above the aircon vents at the centre.

2. Tilt the screwdriver handle upwards, to snap open the centre piece with 2 aircon vents.

3. You will see 2 screws on each side above the central aircon vents.

4. Use a cross screwdriver, release the 2 screws.

5. Slowly snap open the centre piece, be careful of the wire attached to the hazard light button.

6. You will see 4 (or was it 6?) screws attaching the head unit to the internal bracket. Unscrew those and you can access the back of your head unit.

hi bro, thanks! question;

 

Do i need to remove the top centre piece with the 2 aircon vents (dash) once it is snapped open? Or i just leave it ajar?
