Thanks for the information. I visited the workshop and had the bumper partially repainted with only 40$. No color mismatch can be seen when I collect after a few hrs.

Scratch dimension: left front bumper (L25cm-H5cm-D2mm).

Correction of the address: Yishun Ind Park A, BLK1017, #01-252, (Tel:67537879)

This shop is quite good in my opinion. I also went down there to touch up my front bumper as both left & right side kenna kerb. Got (L:10cm-W:1cm). The boss quote me $40 for each side. He spray bigger patch to make it look even & neat. I also bring him my newly bought rear spoiler to spray at $80. As the boss use machine to mix & match the color, I found the color quality is gd and matching. Left my car there and collected back after 4 hrs.

thanks. will try. don't think it's fingernails scratches.

Do you have any pets? My cars had these scratches due to my beloved pets play around or stood up with their front legs on the bonnet or the side. But, not on the door handle. Might be your pet try to open up the car door?

There was a scratch on one side of the front bumper of my rented car. Rental company wants to charge me $180 for the repairs. Said that it's the cost for spray painting the whole bumper together with polishing. They also want to charge me extra for loss of use.

Is it an over-charge? When I rented the car, it had plenty of scratches and dents and they remained un-repaired. When I asked the guy about it he was a bit evasive and said it's because they have no time to send the car to the workshop for repairs.

I wonder how many damages they charged to those who rent from them. In the end, I don't even think they repair the car.

Lesson Learnt: when you rent a car, always inventory the scratches and defects and let the rental company sign off and acknowledge. Go through it as if you are taking over a new car. test all the parts, electronics and mechanisms.
