Yes, this is the name he commonly used when he was in Cambridge, but after returned from England and entered politics, he seldom used it or rather dont like to used it, coz he want to be closer to Chinese, Chinese at that time will think he is more ang mo than Chiense... that's why

Only the wifey continued to use it at home. Thats how his Engrish name got leaked out in public.
