Surprise, thot Honda might just nick it.

think altis, vios and wish did big contribution in dec/2008

Not surprising. In fact, I think Toyota will consolidate it's No. 1 position and Honda sales will weaken.

What's surprising is tt Hyundai registered v strong sales in Dec 08 and pip BMW to 6th.

If all of you notice, our neighbourhood police car also using toyota altis.

Wonder if the numbers was added to total sale or not?

definitely added, the number only exclude taxi [:p]

Surprise, thot Honda might just nick it.

 

Honda already did very well in year 2008. IMHO, the data shown that there are 2 distinctive groups, one that is willing to pay slightly more to get a better power and stylish looking car. On the other hand, you have another one, that want Japanese reliability but no willing to pay more and don't mind a car that is less appealing in power and look. When you neither have look nor power among the peers, you ended up like the Nissan.

actually...whatever brands being the top seller..what does that mean to the consumers???

 

for me they get top seller, nothing beneficial for me ley...even i'm driving a toyota....

Ya lor, meant nothing to me. They can advertised big big in the papers but how does that benefit the consumers?

nissan is moving towards conti style comfort..it's owned by renault now anw..

Hyundai strong due to Japanese Yen strong, ppl shift thier notice to korean cars especially the avante's unbelievable price [thumbsup]
