Here is the content of Rafael Benitez's press conference on Friday, where he responds to Sir Alex Ferguson's observations about the Premier League fixture programme.

Benitez sat with a sheet of paper, unfolded in front of him, from which he read a catalogue of grievances against the Manchester United regime.

"I was surprised by what has been said, but maybe they (Manchester United) are nervous because we are at the top of the table,'' he began.

"But I want to talk about facts. I want to be clear, I do not want to play mind games too early, although they seem to want to start.

"But I have seen some facts. On November 1, they played Hull and Mr Ferguson had a two-match touchline ban and a

I think what RB said is kind of true...........

Nothing new in SAF. He has been playing mind games year in and year out.

And often times, he blamed and criticised referees if decision doesn't goes his way.

Whenever his players committed any fouls, many times he claimed he didn't see it.

If CR dived is to protect himself. And when CR used his hands, that's to protect his head.

If opponents bring down his players, he would say it's a criminal offence.......

If his players bring down opponents, that's football skill and nothing wrong with it.....

Benitez is saying the truth. And when an ex-referee steps up to back Benitez, it gotta be somewhat true.

You must be joking right? I suppose 3-yellow-cards is part of the game too?

SAF & Manure own BPL what [lipsrsealed][lipsrsealed][lipsrsealed][lipsrsealed]

If not, how on earth they get penalty so easy at OT, how they play majority of the top ten team at OT in the 2nd half of the season (he still got cheek to complaints, this is an absolute advantage to manure instead of disadvantage).

Whatever lah, Manure fans will start to say no no no n manure haters will agreed. never ending stories.

you think second half of the season with the games at home is advantage? I can argue likewise that such a heavy fixture away from ot at the start removes manu confidence and upon coming back with a heavy pile up fixtures, the home advantage cancelled out by fatigue..can also say like tt wad

....

So, Ferguson and Manure owns the BPL. They are top of the pile. The rest of the teams in BPL are owned. Clubs like Liverpool are no better than manure, right? Can I agree with you?

I think MU's squad is quite big, considering SAF has already introduced a number of young punks into the first team. As for cancelled out by fatigue, it is a possibility. However, SAF could resort back to mind games to disrupt the opponents or they will win the game by that odd goal even though they don't play well. Some attribute it to luck.

"All managers need to know is that only Mr Ferguson can talk about the fixtures, can talk about referees and nothing happens.

"We need to know that I am talking about facts, not my impression. There are things that everyone can see every single week.''

Life is such. When u got the credibility and the trophies to back you up, you have clout. sxxt or no sxxt, Manure manager, SAF, is doing what he has to do to win games. And he is a winner. Win games means more revenue, more $. Sounds similar to office politics? More sales, better performance, more $ and you go to office with chin up....

Liverfool manager, has yet to win the holy grail, yet he opens up his mouth. Perhaps somethings are taken out of context and the press are known to misquote. So I personally never bother who said what.

Liverfool just drew ag Stoke, a relagation threatened team. This is not a sign of a true championship team. Think Man U, Chelsea and Arsenal of the previous season- they won games consistently. No point of beating Manure and Chelskis 1 Nil earlier in the season yet they cant finish off lower teams.

Perhaps Liverfool might just emulate Blackburn in 1994 and win the EPL this season. If anyone knows the history of Blackburn, just remember Alan Shearer and how many medals he had won.

I have to say the Liverfool team this year has more grit. Though lacking of talent in some areas they have shown better results than previous seasons.

I have always tell my good fren of LFC faith, just wait for April/May, the true result will show.

To some clubs, this may not be an advantage but for Manure, with such squad, i dun see any prob to them. They are performing better after xmas, everyone know that. Home advantage is definitely good n somemore if u noticed, ref still to favour manure at OT.

I think RB is falling into Old Fark's mind trap already. [speechless]

[laugh][laugh] or feeling the stess the way MU is playing recently, think by now he's stress level

should have gotten worst after MU wacked Chelski 3-0 last night.. [lipsrsealed][laugh][laugh]

Hey, respect that referee. He may have made errors, but Graham Poll contributed significantly in his younger days as a world-class ref.

Just becos of that error doesn't mean he can't give objective opinions.
