Some forumers mentioned of Regoo <www.regoo.com.sg> and <www.sgcarinsurance.net>. Which one is better? Anyone had used them before?

Since they may get quotes from same group of insurers such as NTUC, AIG, AXA etc. etc., does it mean their services are just the same? [confused]

Thanks.

Sometimes, it's better for you to do a bit of homework by calling up the insurers yourself. These agencies who help you source for quotes will charge a commission... usually to the insurer directly, and indirectly bumping up your premiums.

I for one, did my own research.. and got one that is pretty good. Cheaper than my previous one last year although the premiums across the board has went up as a whole this year. Got a free cashcard with $88 as well. =)

Sometimes it's true, sometimes it's not.

It depends on how these insurance companies want to sell their product.

For example, last year I call up RSA directly for quote. Then I got the same quote from another agent for RSA.

This year I settled with MSIG on my own for the free $88 cashcard. Then I found another agent offering RSA for a lot lower price than my previous agent.
