I think generally, the fuel cap for Asian made cars are on the opposite side of drivers seat whereas continental made cars are on the drivers side.... there may be some exceptions yup... that's quite true but like you said, there may be exceptions. Generally, the fuel tank is located on the opposite side of the driver... for conti cars in singapore and with us being RHD, it ends up being on the same side as the driver. why is it opposite the driver? simple - when the car pulls up at a petrol station, the fuel cap being on the opposite would mean the driver could exit his car easily since the pump is not in the way Edited January 7, 2009 by Altivo ↡ Advertisement Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
