Ixiz Clutched January 4, 2009 Share January 4, 2009 As the topic suggest . Is the following legal ? Saw a body kitted car in my MSCP . The front license plate is by the side of the bodykit . What i noticed was .. the license number is "spray" directly onto the bodykit . (Very professional done though - as in the number are silver on black background - The car was white) From far you see it's just like those legally plated number , Fonts , spacing etc ... But just that it is sprayed on ... Like that can pass inspection ?? ↡ Advertisement

But if the font size is 7cm x 5cm, spacing is 1cm, they may choose to close 1 eye.

Kiadaw 6th Gear January 4, 2009 Share January 4, 2009 Its illegal, but I think LTA or our friendly traffic police will close one eye if the font size/type is correct. Not sure if will pass inspection or not. My bro car also sticker on one side & he never have a problem. I am however not a big fan of sticker licence no. In fact I don't dig licence plate to be put on one side, it destroy the symmetric IMO. The big block no. plate on the side of evos are especially eyesore to me. If I ever get an evo, I will especially tell the SE to stick the licence plate in the middle, even if I it means losing a bit of performance due to slightly less cooling for the intercooler. ITS DARN FUGLY. if the color is pale orange, ITS WORSE. ↡ Advertisement
