water has to come in from the door seals or the door card. no way will it come from underneath. its just gravity. get someone to hose the car and spot the leak

Put tissue paper between door frame and close door. Spray with water using water hose. Wipe dry and open door to check. See if tissue paper wet.

I ever read from megane forum that their cars got this problem. Believe it or not the problem lies with the windscreen which is not properly sealed. Yours is rear passenger so it could be door seal. Did you check your window for that side is fully closed?

hmm i went back to AD to fix my reverse sensor once..and not sure if that may cause anything to be not fitted properly when they are fixing the reverse sensor...

and also there was once when the AD cleared my air con but using those spray that they leave behind the rear passenger left seat..i dunno wad is that called..but since then on..it has been getting wet..not sure if this is the cause but it shld not be..

i would suggest pursuing with the AD since they have operated on that spot before.

Neutral Newbie

Send to ur ride to agent to check. I used to have this on my new car and was told that the so called "glue" seal on the chassic joint part not well glued, thus result in water slipping in. Mine is rear right passenger door. floor map wet too. 2 days down.

Hi, every compartments of the car interior like front/rear and left/right will have a drain hole underneath the carpet.

The drain hole will be cover by a rubber seal which is removable. remove the carpet and you will get to see it. maybe it's not paced/plugged in properly.

Try to remove your left rear floor mats to expose the metal floorboard. Make sure it is completely dry. Then sprey water from underneath or drive in the rain.

See if u can spot any part starting to get wet. It is unlikely a new car can have this leak. Most likely its your rubber door seal damaged, misaligined or loose.

Try to spot the location & seal it with silicon sealant. I had a leak in the boot of my 18 year old Corona after being hit from behing & the ws repaired the dent but did not check for water leakage.

I DIY the leak with silicon & it lasted a couple of years until I sold the car.

car got kenna langgah before ?

if no, then it is most probably the rubber seals have drop out of place.

jus replace a new one and you will be fine

else .... start saving cash to change car
