I don't have the owner manual book so I am asking if you guys know the followings:

1.) how to deactivate the easy access seat settings?

2.) I can't open the trunk when I press the button below? Although the key is with me. Usually have to press and hold the key

3.) the last time I use sports mode, the compressor died.Is it common? Or just that the compressor about to die?

4.) I notice the aircon cuts off frequently at 23-25 degree, is it normal?

Just got a 2009 teana, mileage at about 130k. Thanks for your input

Hi forumers, As a Nissan lover, I bought again Nissan and I'm collecting Nissan Teana 2.0L very soon, perhaps a couple of weeks time. Could you please advise me what are the main items to check when I collect my new car. To be frank, there're many things I still do not know and those I knew may somehow overlook either. Thank you in advance.

1. I dun think it can be deactivated. You can only get TCM to do it if it is possible.

2.sometimes it happened to me too... But usually ok after a few attempts. So I didn't bother.

3. Sport mode got nothing to do with air-con compressor, probably coincidence.

4. Yes, at 23-25deg.C it cut in & out quite often. But I realised that my air-con is not as cold as my previous cefiro. Previously I used to set about 23deg.C and it is rather cold enough. But now I set at 21deg.C also not cold.

Test drive the 2.5 Teana on National day, this is my view,no doubt,Teana is quieter than mt Mazda 6,2.5,but the CVT gearbox make it "Soulless" to drive,it is just a smooth unit,no feeling of "gears",cannot manual select gears with paddle shift, like the 6...Local fitted GPS,got ugly receiver on the windscreen, new 'type' of reverse camera can view the side,[also local fitted]...in a word,a comfort car,but if driver are looking for a better handling unit...it just cannot make it.

Different target drivers.

Teana for those who likes smooth, quiet & comfort, low maintenance. Not too loud, yet presentable & value for $.

Actually Nissan should add Paddle shift or at least +/- manual mode on the gearshift,i understand the 3.5 came with this,it will help the car better will coming to a turn, instead of just the brakes to slow down the car...Paddle shift is not new,it came standard in my 2009 370z...

Right, paddle shift is not new.

So is rear passenger space, comfort / soft absorber and boot space.....Nissan should add these to 370Z or whatever up-coming sport model they are planning / design also !

Why so much focus on handling on Singapore roads?. Unless you have lots of access to winding roads with little traffic where you can maximise and enjoy the handling potential of the car. Don't you think on local roads, a comfortbale and smooth drive should have precedence over handling . It will at least hept to keep your cool in our traffic conditions. Good handling will just turn you into a more aggressive and dangerous driver.

Paddle shift help me to slow down by using engine braking, like exiting expressways...& no need to use brakes, after than engine just at the nice 'sweet spot' to power up again.
