need help in the setting to display from laptop to LCD TV

hi, i need help in having the steps to connect the laptop to LCD tv.so far for physical connection i had bought a VGA cable to connect up between my laptop and the LCD TV.However,i need further help in having guidelines step by step in the display setting from the laptop.Example step 1 go to control panel etc..im using a acer aspire laptop.Hope any bro/sis out there can help mi..thanks alot.

after plugging in the vga cable and setting to the vga display mode on your tv.

u need to press FN + Fx to switch the display mode

every make is different

check out the prints on your function keys on your laptop

In my office, after connection, we will just press control F12 to toggle the laptop display into the LCD. Of course, it depends on your laptop model which function key combo to press
