Car super lag....suspect turbo kaput

Hi bros,

 

I have been driving around for the past week with this laggy superb. The rpm took longer than usual to climb and I dont feel the turbo kick in at all. The power after 3000rpm is flat all the way to 6200rpm which cause me headache in ns highway.

Any superb owners encounter the same problem?

Need your advise urgently.

Usually I will hear the turbo spool at 3rd gear.....now I dont hear it spooling anymore

It is either the turbo the goes kaput or a simple electrical coil failure.

I just got it rectified, jaffar was saying electrical interference and some connector thingy. car is back to normal and feels great

Glad it is fixed, so it is probably a coil issue, doubt about electrical interference, full of it. If that is so, I am worried that the car might just get an electrical shock.

 

To change the coil, pull the connector out, like those of the plug and remove the bolt holding it.

Cannot agree with you more about the "enroute" to Genting.

 

Still trying to get used to this new look and feel...still find the old one more friendly.
