AIG

my previous (just a few months ago) car, a 156, also with them

premium? $800+

I see, they quoted me the same as NTUC, so i just continued with NTUC

I'm 36 married, indoor job

17 yrs driving experience

100% accident and claim free, max NCD.

Maybe next year, i'll try to ask again. thx

Never to buy impreza. I heard they got high accident rate. Confirm got very ex insurance. If you consider vios should be good. For actual quotation price wait for the experienced to post.

Having gone thru all the posts here, I find that most of you are actually enjoying relatively low premiums. I just received the renewal notice from my insurer - RSA. The basic premium quoted (before NCD discount and GST) is about 8.5% higher than current policy. Although the premium I have to pay after discounts is still lower than the amount I paid last year, but considering my age and driving experience, and with 50% NCD, the amount of premium I have to pay is rather high albeit the fact the value of my car is lower now and it will be even lower toward the end of the policy year. I asked my agent, she said premium for Honda cars is higher.

Current Insurance Policy from 22 Feb 2009 to 21 Feb 2010

Basic Premium - $2030.28

Less 40% No Claim Bonus - $812.11

Incentive Disc - $60.91

Total Annual Premium- $1157.26

7% GST- $81.01

Total Paid - $1238.27

Impending Renewal - 22 Feb 2010 to 21 Feb 2011

Basic Premium- $2203.17

Less 50% No Claim Bonus - $1101.59

Incentive Disc - $55.08

Total Annual Premium - $1046.51

7% GST - $73.26

Total Payable - $1119.76

If I will to request for 50% NCD protection, a 10% premium loading applied. That will cost me another hundred over dollars. Is it worth to apply for NCD protection?

Excess (insured & Named Driver) - $500

Unnamed Driver - $1000

Named Yong or inexperienced Driver - $3500

Unnamed Yong or inexperienced Driver - $4000

32 year old Toyota Axio 1.5X

Last yr insurance is 800 plus with NTUC (40% NCD)

Just received a renewal from them 900 plus with 50% NCD.

Can anyone help

I believe all Insurer here increase the basic premiums. In my case, the basic premium quoted for my renewal went up by about 8.5% I am trying to source for cheaper offer.
