Happened to glance at the Sinming Newspaper just now and saw CCM face plastered on the front page...can't really read chinese...anyone konws what happened to him?

Report on him on Ch8 10pm news. Said he's not in any immediate danger but as he grow older, his muscles will waste away faster than normal. I think eventually he will have trouble moving around or doing things under his own power.

My dad's friend also kenna this kind of rare disease. The muscles weaken progressively until he got no control of it anymore. And since the muscles weaken the bone mass becomes less and less until like left with a bag of bones. No known cure available. Very pitiful.

I would think that it is Muscular sclerosis.....at this moment no treatment but there are durgs that can prolong the muscle breakdown...daily injections....

 

Regular scans would detect the muscular state with time

Sign is hercules shape,no cataract (dont noe how spell),no deformed forehead etc

actually dont affect much one...not like other dystrophy, this is different kind.

 

i dont really consume daily...only when do sports i do take..

 

infact i get a overall DNA check foc etc to ensure it will not pass to my next generation.at least a pre check better

don't mention it..at least you have checked it and having treatment (medication) for it..

 

hope Chew Chor Meng's condition not so serious..I heard from some years back that his wife is a volunteer for those social services..so kind hearted people should not have such bad luck

so you are saying Chew Chor Meng got this condition from plastic surgery? Has he had plastic surgery?? I thought his Before and After pictures still the same leh..
