sprinting = drag race.

low end is good for pick up only.

at high rpm,they are very weak.

this explains why their century sprint timing are over 10 sec.

I think yours should be correct, given that it is 2.4L petrol version. For the Taxi, which is likely to be turbo diesel, I think it should be somewhere like 143bhp/33kgm, doubt it is 170bhp. Unless it is a V6 or 3L car. Like what you have said, none of them really know. Probably the best is to ask Comfort.

yah bro.

i just want to differentiate between sprinting and pick-up.

fast pick-up does not mean fast drag.

taxis and commercial vehicles are made to have low-end torque because they usually have more loads.

Petrol 2.4 Sonata is probably about 161bhp, sounds correct. But torque is definitely way lower than 280nm, my guess is that it should be about 220 - 230NM thereabout, even without checking out the specs on the internet.

 

NA, 1.6 is about 140-150NM, 2L should have 190 - 200NM while NA 2.4 will have 220-230NM. For FI engines, all bets are off....
