Scratches on bumper

Hi,

 

My car was hit while parking in the MSCP. This is the second time, but this time on the left side of the front bumper. As shown in the attachment the scratches is above the bumper, any expert here can tell me what sort of vehicle can cause such a scratch?

 

I though if the car park on the left side of my vehicle and wish to turn right, the scratches should be only on the left side of the bumper but strange it also appears on the top of the bumper and some scratches can also be found on the left front head light too.

 

I am puzzle what kind of car hit into my vehicle.

if above headlamp level of a sedan,

 

and if there is a dent but no puncture points: pig karp/suv

 

and if there is puncture point: lowlee

hmm ... there is no dent but scratches, and the impact must be quite strong, the bumper detach a bit. SUV ... high enough to cause a scratch on top of my bumper?? hmm..

Can be bike too. I got kana from bike, paint chip off like urs but bumper never drop off like urs. Ur car look like Altis?

Left side of my car is another parking lot ... it seems like the car is turning right, and turn to early and kena my bumper. Hit and run!! Will try to nab this person.

From where the scratch is, it could not have been bumped by a car, maybe a lorry reversed slightly into your car.

Beside the scratch on top where the paint came off, the side of the bumper also have light scratches, the left front head light also have some scratches.

 

Dunno really what causes it. If it is a lorry, how to explain the scratches on the left side of the bumper

Looks like lorry on your left drove off, bugger turned too early and grazed your left side, he continue with turn and when he realised that, he turned left but by this time he got stuck in front and reversed slightly into your car, scratched the top of bumper and dislodged a bit when the back of lorry went up your bumper. That's what I think.

Have you got a quote on how much is the repair cost? I have a similar encounter and was quoted $140 to respray affected area and re-seat the bumper.
