Akula Turbocharged December 17, 2008 Share December 17, 2008 For me, used to be BP until SPC took over them, then realised, home, in-laws and workplace all have their stations in closed proximity. So its really for convenience sake.
Ekardo Clutched December 17, 2008 Share December 17, 2008 Esso is currently 12.6% with Citibank dividend, and also with smile points..I think this is still better deal ? :P

Espire 1st Gear December 17, 2008 Share December 17, 2008 Oh okie... all along i tot there is a 5% station discount for spc like all other petrol stations... 5,6,7,8 is additional discount on top of 5% station discount. cos spc have no points system. tks for clarifying. Espire 1st Gear December 17, 2008 Share December 17, 2008 cos the 5% is rebate... so its actually 5% rebate is based on the price u pay after station 9% discount.

Civic2000 Supercharged December 17, 2008 Share December 17, 2008 All Petrol in SG is refined by Shell Refinery in Bukom. The refined petrol (based petrol) is then supplied to various petroleum companies, such as Shell, Caltex, Exxon Mobil SPC etc. The respective petroleum companies then added in their so called secret formula additive to the base petrol and sell them to the motorists under their respective brand at their own kiosks. To me, they are all about the same; I go to any brand that offers the better deal. To be frank, when Shell was offering the V Power @ shell 98 price, I also went to Shell and had a tank full of V Power for my FD2, and I don
Vroomtattat 2nd Gear December 17, 2008 Share December 17, 2008 Only pumped once at SPC, I find their grade of petrol like not so "clean". My Princess got a "tummy ache" after drinking and she got no power after that. SPC is definitely not for my Princess. ↡ Advertisement
