6 mth old 325i cabby?

I believe can get for about $165k from direct owner becos if 6 months sell, it means he is desperate to sell. That doesnt mean he has no money, just desperate.

However to take advantage of such opportunity, you need to have enough cash to pay full if necessary.

If from dealer, should be no more than $175k in current market.

Puffer, $185k bo lang ai lah.....

Hi Throttle, why would you suugest paying full cash for the car? And how much do you reckon a 4 yr old 325i in the future can fetch? $100k conservative enough?

Dude, 325ci cannot be labelled as "underpowered" lah for it's size and cap.

if power hungry, change 335ci also no use, becos you'll want an M series after that.

I usually try to pay full cash for my car becos i hate hassles and it is simpler to close the deal. I suggest paying full cash also becos i dont want to pay effective interest of 6%++.

Nowadays full cash buyer can take advantage of opportunities.

i think $100k after 4 yrs is conservative enough considering we dont see dire changes in the economic environment.

It doesn't take very much to mod a 335i to be faster, more powerful, better handling than stock M3. Real value for money. That's why most 325i owners are switching to 335i.

Yes i do know that and fair enough reason, but label me a sucker.

To me an M series is an M series is an M series.

In terms of faster, more powerful, better handling etc. ...unless you intend to take the stoked-up 335i onto the tracks, the M3 will still be the car on the roads.

Moreover, you can use a stock GTR to do all that and even more value for money than the 335.

anyway bottomline, why 325i owners change to 335i ?

heh heh we all know the reason lah, other than the one you've given. [;)]

I have a 335i and it doesnt handle as well as an M3 please. M3 handles much better, thats why it cost an extra of more than $100k. M3 is built for racing on the TRACK, not on our streets.

Is it faster and more powerful. If tuned up, yes the 335i will initially out-accelerate the M3 from standstill because of more torque from the TT, in a straight line only for a limited distance. This has been compared/tested -_I saw with my own eyes in a 'drag race'. The M3 will however pick up speed quickly n catch up in no time. It has a very good 420bhp V8, several test on the tracks has shown it performs better than its 'bigger' rivals the RS4 4.2L V8 and the C-AMG 6.3 V8.

I know one guy sold his 325i cabriolet after few months(bought it new) and got a 335i cabrio. Yes this guy wanted more power. Yes the diff is alot between 325 n 335.

325 has about 200 plus NM of torque whereas a tuned 335 can go up to close to 600NM. 325 comes with about 218BHP according to paper, a 335 can be tuned up to more than 400BHP. In USA, some 335 cars can do 0-100 in low 4 secs.
