Now I'm using Aquawax sealant but I feel my previous JW acrylic jett has longer lasting slickness.

I'm not too concern about shine but enjoy slick touch on paintwork.

Please advise. Thks.

Slickness got to do with how u prep the surface. A properly prep surface can ensure longer lasting slickness but then weather also part an important part. If often get soot, rain and sun then the slicknes will wear off pretty fast.

DG aquawax could be different league with the rest. Maybe Bro MD could advice. I see most detailers in Autopia compare DG Aquawax vs Optimum wax vs Zaino Z8. I have tried optimum wax but still prefer DG for its ease of use and shine. Price wise, DG is still hard to beat.

As personally, most important is must be easy to, whether last or not is not an issue for me. I do it like weekly basis.

Are you referring to Duragloss or Autoglym aquawax?

I would suggest you to try a quick detailer (of your choice).

After you wax and buff off, the surface still feels like there is a thin film of oil. The oil makes it nice to touch just like your facial moizturizer. After 1-2 days you wash your car, the surface is really clean and actually to me it looks the best after the first car wash when it's really clean. That's slick look and touch that I like.

Some sealant are very reflective but not as nice to touch. You apply biotherm night cream or Estee Lauder lah, when there is oil surely nice to touch [:p] (this one is a joke).

But for me, I'll use quick detailer to maintain the touch.

Honestly, even with what I use the SV Mystery (3 layers), after I wash the car 3-4 times the touch is also different already. I have to top up with some kind of quick detailer if I want to maintain that kind of touch. But there are many quick detailer out there, you got to try a few. I heard Zymol has a Field Glaze, Zaino has one also (Z8?, not sure), Meg #135, almost every brand has one. Different water beading, different touch, differrent cleaning ability, different look etc. Some even contains some light wax.

I personally using SV Nano Express now. The touch and look, is like after that first car wash after waxing. I didn't try every brand, just stick to this when I found what I want. You try around, might find something that suits you best.

I'm using Aquawax for more than half a year already, and I find the slickness and the waxy feeling can last for a long time.

Here's what I do almost weekly: Rinse car -->Duragloss Shampoo 901-->Duragloss Polish & Cleaner 101 (once a month) --> Duragloss Total Performance Polish 105 (sealant) --> Duragloss Aquawax 951

I do also have the Indian carpark washer to wipe my car daily, it sure does help to keep the gloss there. The only downside is that I've got to content with some light scratches and swirl marks, which can machine polished away once every 6 months.
