Kudos to the blardy smart owner (in a way), took out the exclusive S204 spoiler, BBS wheels, Recaro carbon seats n Pirelli Zero Corsa tyres (probably sold all) before kena re-possessed !!! Brembo brakes and lip spoiler still looks intact (might as well dispose of it too)~ [sweatdrop]

potential buyers better double-check the special turbo-charger, pistons, conrods n Yamaha dampers !!! scarli all not there anymore n so much for buying the real deal [knife]

No no no, they are smarter than that. Actually they may work with some dealers on these kind auctions. There's rumour that some auctioneers favor the dealers over individual bidder. They may even let dealers to choose & buy cars after auction closed. So the individual buyers either get the car dealers don't want or if the car is cheap and good, you won't get it. It's a sure win for the auctioneer. My friend is believe in this theory becoz last time he was outbid by a very small margin. Mind you that it's not that he bade 59995 and this guy bade 60000! He actually bade a very unusal amount and still got outbid by a neglectable amount. It's hard to beleive it's just the other guys luck. Coincidentally the final price of the car was also way below the market value.

I hope one day sg can also have the open and totally transparent car auction - all bidder come and bid on spot, there's no back room deals anymore.

Neutral Newbie

Went down to check the car, found that both front door don't really operate well (not smooth)probably all four doors have been swop before.

The engine coolant ressovir was bone dry! with dust inside! The turbo look kind of small as well and I suspect the engine has been swop as well.

If you are looking for a High OMV WRX STI to rebuild, this could be the one.

But to sell at 204 price, good luck to GE unless some ill inform fellow bid for it at a

premium!

Many years back,if i'm not wrong during year 2000, my dad bidded a 10years old Honda Accord at $28K with renew 10years COE. At that time, the Auction is on the spot bidding. However, for those fax submission bidding, its quite true that dealer can out bid bidders at very small margin as the staff from the bank and the dealer [gossip] work hand in hand [lipsrsealed]

hear? its rumours.

But they do ask some dealers to bid higher to be fair to both bank and owner. If your fren want the car, make a offer the dealer can't match and he will get it.
