Josho 1st Gear December 12, 2008 Share December 12, 2008 I rem I drove along KPE to ECP and the WRX is right behind me and overtook me since I am below speed limit, and after a while, it turn to 1st lane and maintain ard 90km/h. See all the cars behind the WRX like escorting! When I saw taxi and mecs speeding from behind, all balls shrink and start to slow down when they saw the WRX
Scrambyjess Neutral Newbie December 12, 2008 Share December 12, 2008 Its natural behaviour lah, who wan to risk offending TP... I only dare to overtake police van
Gearoil 1st Gear December 12, 2008 Share December 12, 2008 Recently, witnessed a traffic scene. A sports car was stopping at the slip road that run into a merging lane before the expressway. A TP on bike drove past and riding towards the merging lane. As soon as the TP passed the sports car, the driver has the nerve to overtake the TP at the merging lane. In a flash, the TP overtook him and wave him to stop and the rest of the story is up to our imagination. Have you overtook TP on the expressway before? Is it legal to do so, if TP is driving or riding slowly? Regards, Why not? If I'm not speeding ,I'll just overtake him loh! Stop me and ask for my I.C...I'll show him loh! He sees my address and he'll return my I.C to me and ask me to move on loh!
Puteh83 1st Gear December 12, 2008 Share December 12, 2008 (edited) but in other scenerio, if tp have to speed to catch drivers speeding, do they consider speeding themselves? Edited December 12, 2008 by Puteh83
Scrambyjess Neutral Newbie December 12, 2008 Share December 12, 2008 No loh. they are justified if they are in pursuit. But if they speed without any sign of pursuing (no blinkers or sirens) then I think is wrong ba.
Nlatio Turbocharged December 12, 2008 Share December 12, 2008 So far I can remember, never once saw TP hogging road.... most are driving at the limit or way pass it.... so naturally no one want to be hero and overtake... no good for your pocket.... but good for the economy though.... .... they ride their bike, wearing white.... and always suddenly appear out of no where.... really like hantu... ..... Kingkong 5th Gear December 12, 2008 Share December 12, 2008 Was directly behind a TP WRX once along PIE (towards Jurong before BKE) in lane 1. Its travelling at speed limit, and there's a long queue behind. Imaging 80 all the way... Anyway, it changed to lane 2 (I think to warn off some errant truck drivers), and I immediately speed up. The WRX comes back to lane 1 just behind me now. Not wanting to be directly in front of the WRX for too long, I increase speed to slightly above speed limit and slowly pull away. Lucky the WRX never stop me. ;) All those who can't make it in front of the WRX must be (**&%&^%)...
Josho 1st Gear December 12, 2008 Share December 12, 2008 Hahaha I like the way you phrase it, like hantu (White). When one bugger speed, then you see disco light, cfm its not Hantu. Maybe can say, I tot I saw hantu, thats why I speed
Josho 1st Gear December 12, 2008 Share December 12, 2008 Law protect the TP. Anyway, its not right to speed so.. just be nice on road.

Imagine, if the car were to rub against a motorcyclist as the car move pass him in the merging lane (just that now, the motorcyclist is also a TP) or the motorcyclist evade the car and lost balance, comfirm accident + injuries. Dwoon 1st Gear December 12, 2008 Share December 12, 2008 Errrmmm.... is fast acceleration illegal? Once I was stopped for jack-rabbit start from red light to another red light, just side by side with a TP rider. The TP rider waved me to wind down my window at the next traffic light and told me not to drive so racklessly. I just said OK.
