My side started around 5.30am, but the real thunder storm came around 6:45am, with heavy pouring and connecting thunders.

Why are you still going to work so early? First lesson usually only starts at 8am right?

Raining just switch to HBL, go online lah, or better still send a text out,  asynchronous  learning today and go back to sleep.
