I need the rain to clean up my rental car.

I don't pay to get it washed, so I wait for the rain.

Then I use a soft silicone blade to wipe off the excess water.

I think NEA should start monitoring a piece of development before construction and after. I find all these glass buildings are adding more heat to our environment. One day we will need covered walkway and tunnels to live in Singapore.

Agree.

And those buildings with glass roofs in shopping malls. It does nothing useful except making the interior hotter.

How about more natural light getting into the mall?

How about more natural light getting into the mall?

But I still see lights switched on brightly along these openings, plus the lightnings from the shops.

So what's the point?

It generates more heat inside the mall instead, and air con have to switch to lower temperatures to balance out the heat inside.

this is what i call follow with eyes closed or brain not working. the amount of electricity saved for lightings is a fraction of the amount of electricity used to cool the space. just because visually lights is more prominent, the forget about cooling.

Unless you are on top floor, how would you feel it?

Are you sure it is for saving electricity?

electricity power to cool down the heat gain from the sun far exceeded the electrical consumption to power the lighting. no need to feel and look. all you need is to tune up 1 C temp, you can leave the entire building lights swtiched on the whole day.
