Saw the ad on Sat newspaper. SAAB 9-3 selling 99888... Finally drop from their obstinate 128k price tag for a long time to adjust according to current market condition.

if good buy wait a while and buy used.

the real price you pay is the price you get when you sell.

if you got the moolah why bother with an entry level conti, if not better to get used.

with the new price dropping used is going to be really cheap prolly scrap + a few ks.

that to me is a good buy because you lose way less when you scrap later.

yeah the next to crash should be the unrealistically obstinate over-rated rental market.

even a 3-room flat rent cost $1200-1500 to rent, a realistic figure should be $700-850 depending on location

9-3 is quite an old car by design, though it rcv a good amt of facelift and improvements.

previous 128k is stupid when priced against 'cheaper and newer' 159, 320

Best is to check with TE themselves and not to rely on newspapers for actual price. This price is most likely with maximum loan and rebate. Similar case for the S60 which was also advertised for $90+k a few months ago.

I did checked up at the TE. There is no short change in term of the stuff in the car. The offer applies to the demo unit, most with mileage of few 100km only. With this offer price, you wouldn't be expecting TE to offer you the accessories like HIRSCH chip-up, aero rims, roof rack??? I think it is quite an attractive offer. Just my opinion.

You can ask around in SAAB forum.. it's definitely a steal.
