My ride is a Nissan and I use original.

Cheap and good.

Change them at 15-20k, or earlier if engine coughs.

So far no problemo, runs all the way.

If you want consistancy on power and lifespan, (without taking out every 40,000KM to check). Go for Iridium if they have for your car. Contact VTIM, he gets good deals on Iridium..

Iridium suppose to last up to 80,000KM.. much depends on the way you drive..

Normally, I clean it every 10,000KM for all my spark plugs.

why people replying to me? I didn't start this post leh, just ask an innocent question if he/she want original spark plug or after market for the Skoda Classic.

Me using original cause aftermarket one do nothing for my CMI 8V Skoda. 8V hor, not V8.

change at 20K cause it is damn expensive, 7.50 per piece

1) BUR6ET brand: NGK

2) 14GH-7 DTUR brand: Beru

3) W7LTCR brand: Bosch

All are usable. At least will last 30k km. These plugs are good enuff. Save the $.

My is a Classic, very basic. My humble advise is to use the stock ones, which lasts about 20,000km. Unless you know exactly what you are doing, then you might opt for the ranges suggested.

i went back for servicing last week and they only did oil & oil filter change. if the plugs last for 20k then i better get it changed elsewhere.
