Punkie Neutral Newbie December 1, 2008 Share December 1, 2008 Hi guys, just to share with u that over the past week i had 2 personal friends, each on separate occassions, both encountered serious accident. One week ago, i have a friend G, was drinking with some friends at a pub till 5am, then he got into the rear seat of his friend's car but didnt put on seat belt. Got into accident and hit the divider, front driver and passenger suffered injuries but both ok, but my friend G, is on the verge of life and death. Gone thru 2 operations already and last i heard yesterday was that his brain had internal bleeding but he is still conscious of wat is going on, but doc do not want him to wake up and feel the pain, so they are jabbing him to keep him rested. The 2nd ops yesterday, they had to cut open his skull to operate on the brain to prevent blood clot. He is still fighting for his life in ICU for the past week. He is only 29 this year and just started building up a good career in property. On Sat nite, heard from another friend they bumped in M at zouk and chatted. On the same nite, M was driving home and got into an accident. Now lying in NUH ICU coma. He is 29 years old as well and he started doing his own business 2 years ago. My friends, life is precious and pls take good care and be a responsible driver. Drive safely. The festive season is round the corner and everyone is blessing each other with well-wishes. I wish that both my friends can pull thru this. God bless them pls. ↡ Advertisement
Maxus-MIFA9 Supersonic December 1, 2008 Share December 1, 2008 Hmmmm........ both occasions, drivers either drinking with late nights out which will cause a person to be fatigue .... Another reason is speeding which up to TP to prove that the drivers is speeding and lost control of the vehicle....

Sony 1st Gear December 1, 2008 Share December 1, 2008 I think living a healthy lifestyle rather than getting drunk till they have no idea what they are doing is a better advice than safe driving..
Chongster 6th Gear December 1, 2008 Share December 1, 2008 maybe i am old already, but these days i think of life and death, i feel it's all fated. i have done so many stupid things as a young man, and could have been killed many many times over, but still i am, by the grace of god, still around. when i was in my 20s driving a civic, would anyone been able to tell me not to drink, not to stay out, not to speed, not to do stunts etc? i don't think so. these days, I just try to do more charity and kind deeds to build and repay the good karma ... But i assume both drivers are drinking which i highlighted the points, pls dun say the drivers went there to drink kopi sew tai until 5am or at zouk. Seriously i dun think they deserve a slight pity from any of us here, isn't it obvious that they know this is part of their RISK-TAKING. Drunk and drive but nv buang = heng, Drunk and drive then buang = u deserve it.

Slayer Clutched December 1, 2008 Share December 1, 2008 The moral of the story is : open eyes wide , be vigilent on the road. I bet most of you notice when u are the first car approaching the stop line on red light. The whole bunch of padestrian crossing the road, and none of them bother to look at me to be sure that I am slowing down to a stop. If I doze off.. damn , they don't even know what hit them. Too many are taking things for granted.

Everyone of us will heed ur message for sure. Think drinking nowadays to release stress rather than celebrating holidays.
Watwheels Supersonic December 1, 2008 Share December 1, 2008 U are kidding? Look at how many % of the population of ppl drive cars in SG. I can safely say most sgporeans dun drive. If they dun drive how will they be aware of such things? U cannot take your perspective and throw it to others and say they take it for granted. Yr1985 1st Gear December 1, 2008 Share December 1, 2008 I agree on most cases, elderly walking without checking, school children running across, young people listening to MP3. And yes, those PRCs... ↡ Advertisement
