Parking Offence Queries

That day I parked by the road side, along double yellow line to pick up some items from a friend. Then I saw the parking warden came along and parked his bike ard 3 car lengths from me. I quickly get in and drove off before he had a chance to summon me.

 

But as I was driving off, I noticed that he was looking at my car and writing down something which is most probably carplate number.

 

My query is: Are they able to fine me without issuing the slip and putting it on my windscreen or can they just jolt down carplate number and send me the fine later?

If it is Cisco, Permas, etc. They cannot fine you without the slip. At least that is what a Permas fella told me

can leh.. i was caught along dbl zigzag line by a cisco aux police/warden... no slip. Just took a pic and off he went.

maybe they are tasked to do that only..... I spoke to a premas fella, he say cannot leh.... maybe cisco can but those outsource like premas cannot...

From my understanding, premas is carpark management company, so they have no warrant to uphold such regulations. Cisco is different, the have the aux police and traffic warden/marshall branch that have certain power over some offences.

if its cisco, they can pass yr plate number to TP. TP will issue the summon

Aiyah...I think that guy is from Cisco, in the white uniform and white scooter. Keep my finger crossed that I can siam cos there are other cars parked there too.

So if I kena, then approximately how long will I get the letter? Its been 1 week now. And how much is the fine for parking along double yellow line? Any pts deducted?

dbl yellow is 70 i think.. no pts.

parking along double yellow line is considered a traffic offence. thus it'll probably be fine + points. but i'm not sure how much fine/points
