bros here i need some help.

im currently driving civic FD1A. ytd while i was on a slight slope, from stationary i removed the brake and lag a bit before stepping accelerator, but before i could step the car shuddered then stalled. quite shocking as i have never experienced stalling on auto transmission before.

then when i reached home, i realised when the gear is engaged in R or N the car vibrates/rattles, but when engaged in D it becomes okay.

anyone can give some advise? thanks a million!!

hi im driving a civic fd 07. about 110-120k .

at tat mileage, it's possible to experience some gear slippage....(altho i would expect better quality fr honda)...get the car checked by a transmission expert

Yr car still quite new. Strange autobox spoil so fast.

Better get a good autobox ws to check.

Did your RPM drop alot before it died? May not be GB issue.

Could also be the idling valve controller issue. Bring to WS to check is best.

Engine stall can be many reason, might not be your gearbox. Things like dirty air filter or dirty throttle body can also cause engine to stall. As for vibration/rattling it is likely be engine mount that requires replacement.

thanks all for feedback.

brought it down to kah motors for a check. turns out to be engine mount crack, and also dirty throttle body. paid 300+ to rectify plus do wheel alignment and patch tyre cuz apparently a nail went in without me knowing.

dont know if its cheap or ex, but i was impressed by the professionalism and great service by the guy from kah motors.
