Anjas Neutral Newbie November 23, 2008 Share November 23, 2008 Was at Tebrau City yesterday evening. Saw Tesco car park was really full and there were cars parked along the road besides TC and Tesco.. If you're going just wait a few more weeks to let the crowds thin out first.. Andysgp Neutral Newbie November 23, 2008 Share November 23, 2008 Hi guys: Was at Tesco yesterday afternoon. Parking is free and newly opened (hence contribute to the crowd). My family dun quite like the place and most probably will not go there again - Reason --> 1. The building not well design. The place was very noisy (as if there's echo). Have a headache because of it. 2. Try not to park @ 2nd storey if u intend to go the 1st storey (mostly food outlets). To access from 2nd to 1st storey by escalator, need to go to lvl 3 then straight to lvl 1. If not careful, take the wrong escalator u will be back at lvl 2 again. Then after makan, need to take escalator back to lvl 3 then to lvl 2 to carpark. Else can take lift (dun like to wait as it is usually crowded). 3. Tesco items are not really cheaper than Jusco. 4. More food outlets in Jusco than Tesco. YMMV
Kelpie 2nd Gear November 23, 2008 Author Share November 23, 2008 (edited) Thank you very much for the feedback. Will take note of it. Regards, Also went to Tesco yesterday! Parked in front of Tesco itself as Jusco was too packed. (seemed like good security? saw a couple of guards walking ard the carpark in front) Tesco is just a 2 storey mall with few other shops apart from the massive hypermart? 1st floor - food court, laksa, vietnam restaurant, kenny rogers, Cosway.. 2nd floor - hypermart, 5RM shop, foot reflexology, some other shops which i didnt take note of :P Some stuff are cheaper in Tesco.. especially if you're looking for basic essentials like toilet paper/kitchen towel/rice/sugar/car wipers/etc etc since they have their own no-frills brand (Tesco Value), other items are comparable with Jusco Since Tesco + Jusco are now side by side, can really easily spend half day shopping there Edited November 23, 2008 by Whitecvt
Horsee Clutched November 24, 2008 Share November 24, 2008 Tesco parking free, but very crowded. Park at Jusco, and walk over..sign up Tesco card FOC. imho, nothing much to look see..Still prefer Jusco for its variety shop and food center. Sign up Jusco membership card at RM12, and claim free parking cos would visit the place at least twice per months. Already feeling bored with S,pore expensive parking fee and crowded shopping mall. Anyone try the Thai massage spa next to the Membership signup counter? Wifey is interested to sign up membership & its def cheaper than the ones we have here..
