Scam/extortion case. Pls be aware.

Happen to my auntie this morning. Rec'd a call from a china man saying her son is with him, asking to deposit 10k to a china a/c if not he will beat up her son.

 

Kudos to POSB, when she went to withdraw the money, they ask her what is it for? She said to remit money to china, they ask if she know the person, she said no. And the refused to let her withdraw the money.

 

To summarised, after that she called her son and found out he is in school.

My mother received a call like that just about 3 months ago. Apparently when my mother picked up the phone, all she heard was somebody crying. About few seconds later the moron demanded 20k. When my mother asked him what my name is, he refused to tell her.

 

Long story short, my mother refused to pay. The kidnapper than said, "so you are going to call to police and report me ?" F**K YEAH I AM !

 

Same story, possibly same group of people.

 

Anyway my mother called the police and they said they have received an identical case 10 minutes ago.

 

I would suggest people give the police a ring so that they can take a record of how many incidents have occurred. If numbers prevail, they might investigate.

 

If people receive such phone calls, please call the person at hand FIRST. Not go to the bank.

If possible, should draw these China conmen scum out, trap and capture them.

 

And then give them the beating of their lives, castrate them, and parade them in the open streets for 3 days 3 nights before .

this thing happen to me some times ago also, one kids cried so whole heartedly over the phone calling PAPA PAPA.... then one guy ask me for $$$, i laugh at him and tell him i got no kids yet
