Despite the fact that this driver seems to claim the right to road hog, I have to agree with the statement such as

I am rather irritated with motorists who drive at 60 to 70km/h along the PIE or BKE on the middle lanes. That goes for cars, buses and trucks as well.

 

If you want to drive so slowly, there's always something called the SLOW LANE... aka EXTREME LEFT LANE

 

And when I overtake you on the left, don't try to act all hero and think that I want to race your sorry backside cos I'd outgun you anyday on the road if I truely wanted to.

 

Ok, so this driver thinks he is "justified" to then hog the right lane... please... watch out for my headlights coming right up behind you "on the slip-road linking the BKE to the KJE towards Tuas"

hmm this thread doesn't seem to die...

anyway, a few nights ago I was jogging.. there was a cluster squeeze of cars on the road as some cars were parked on the side. I was running on the road as the side walk was just impossible, then from behind, thinking that the cars passing would not hit me since cars will be driven slowly when they pass each other on narrow road, this orange peaguet hit my arm.

 

I looked and saw from the rear, a female driver.. some more drive fast fast. and then I continue to run to catch up and saw her park her car in front of her house gate less then 50 meters away. Didn't she know that her side view mirror hit me? I waited for her to get out of the car, but for 5 minutes she sat in there.. okay, so I continue to run and the next round come back I check the same house gate, the car was empty.

 

what can we conclude from female drivers?

Bro I totally felt you... Another case that I encountered; I always hang out at Potong Pasir CC. For at least 5 times while I was there, I will hear car honks and announcements from the office to ask the owner to remove the car from the single lane CC parking lot. I will then run out to see who is the idiot who leave the car at the single lane and block the car behind. Always, I swear, ALWAYS it is female drivers! I do not know is it because there are male drivers who park there but I was not there or what but it was always them! I really do not understand why. Last week only I saw a black SUV drove into the carpark and there is an empty lot. Instead the car just park in the middle of the single lane and the lady went to fetch her son from the Taekwondo class. This time no honk n announcment la cos there was no car behind. Sorry ladies I know you girls have alot of things much better than the guys, but driving is definitely not one of them.

Well, this type of drivers must be either so thick skinned and oblivious to the others, or is so intimidated that they r "paralysed" in that particular lane they r driving along

actually it is the reverse leh, during peak hours on CTE, the extreme left lane becomes the faster lane. Can't stand those that hog on lane 1 on CTE, usually I can go fast on lane left most lane and go over the right most lane upon entering the tunnel.
