Deathism Neutral Newbie November 6, 2008 Share November 6, 2008 hello fellas.. remember me askin abt stuff for my medical check-up and all (x-ray,health booklet) here's wad happened went for the medical checkup on the 22nd September. Got Pes D (pending) for 1 month. after 1 month still didnt get any updates. so i emailed them and they told me that the pending status was until 22nd december. not wanting to wait that long..i asked them if they could expedite the process so that i can enlist asap. a few days later, they informed me thru email that my PES status is now E1L9. during the medical screening, i got A for everything except hearing test, due to my total hearing loss at age 3.. they told me that after they've reviewed my medical report, they gave me that status *aczema prolly plays a part too* wad i wanna know now is, any of you bros have this status? if you do, wads in store for me, like say BMT and how life will generally be like? ↡ Advertisement

Mustank Hypersonic November 7, 2008 Share November 7, 2008 last time my bmt is pes c one once out of the tonner, the CSM shouted whoever all must walk from point a to point b no one runs anyone caught running, sign extra then LT explain that this was the first time they are training pes c chaps i thot: wow this gonna be a real fun time end up, no soc, no ippt, whole day: area cleaing, all kinds of weapon cleaning (even though we don use them) and marching friday confirm book out i told my dad about the wonderful life my dad said: ah gua peng my dad was trained my the isreali in attilery super super siong
Bentwy Neutral Newbie November 7, 2008 Share November 7, 2008 Basically you'll be in for a 8 to 5 job as a clerk. And you won't have to stay in camp. If you want to build up your fitness you actually have all the time in the world to train since you are PES E. And, you can actually pursue many things (since you'll be relatively freer than most NSFs) in your free time. Such as take evening classes etc. From what you say I think your PES status is really because of your total loss of hearing. So basicially they can't make you a soldier, but still they have to put you the system of serving national service.
Deathism Neutral Newbie November 7, 2008 Author Share November 7, 2008 ahahha.. normally in my head, i hear the CSM shouting.."AH!! WALK SUMMORE!!" from wad u said..i cant imagine him shouting, "AH!! Hondaes8 2nd Gear November 7, 2008 Share November 7, 2008 Maybe no BMT even. Straight away report to the unit and collect number 3 uniform and PT kit. NO no. 4 issue. Most likely 8-5, Mon-Fri. No need on night duty even.........
Jacf Neutral Newbie November 7, 2008 Share November 7, 2008 stupid question. any difference between ORD and ROD? its the same thing right? ORD means u completed your fulltime NS and then u will need to be call up for reservist after that depends on the NSmen unit u get posted to. ROD means u no more need to get call up for reservist. means u never need to step into an army camp ever! another word for ROD is MR. ↡ Advertisement
