hello fellas..

remember me askin abt stuff for my medical check-up and all (x-ray,health booklet)

here's wad happened

went for the medical checkup on the 22nd September. Got Pes D (pending) for 1 month. after 1 month still didnt get any updates.

so i emailed them and they told me that the pending status was until 22nd december. not wanting to wait that long..i asked them if they could expedite the process so that i can enlist asap.

a few days later, they informed me thru email that my PES status is now E1L9.

during the medical screening, i got A for everything except hearing test, due to my total hearing loss at age 3..

they told me that after they've reviewed my medical report, they gave me that status *aczema prolly plays a part too*

wad i wanna know now is, any of you bros have this status?

if you do, wads in store for me, like say BMT and how life will generally be like?

wad eva it is..im juz lookin forward to it.

not because i got pes e1L9..even if i got pes A, i'd still look forward to it.

simply because it'll be a new experience.

no point whining abt having to do ns. it'll make things easier if u have the right mindset.

anyone caught running, sign extra [sweatdrop][sweatdrop]

then LT explain that this was the first time they are training pes c chaps

i thot: wow this gonna be a real fun time [idea]

end up, no soc, no ippt,

Basically you'll be in for a 8 to 5 job as a clerk.

And you won't have to stay in camp.

If you want to build up your fitness you actually have all the time in the world to train since you are PES E.

And, you can actually pursue many things (since you'll be relatively freer than most NSFs) in your free time. Such as take evening classes etc.

From what you say I think your PES status is really because of your total loss of hearing. So basicially they can't make you a soldier, but still they have to put you the system of serving national service.

Maybe no BMT even. Straight away report to the unit and collect number 3 uniform and PT kit. NO no. 4 issue.

Most likely 8-5, Mon-Fri. No need on night duty even......... [thumbsup]

stupid question.

any difference between ORD and ROD? its the same thing right?

ORD means u completed your fulltime NS and then u will need to be call up for reservist after that depends on the NSmen unit u get posted to.

ROD means u no more need to get call up for reservist. means u never need to step into an army camp ever! another word for ROD is MR.
