Don't believe in Fortune Telling, not anymore!

Want to share this with forumers here:

 

I met Master Chen sometime back, recommended by a friend who told me about Master Chen unique interest in pursuing his personal interest in Buddhism, Fengshui, Fortune Telling, etc; my friend managed to convince me to ask him to do fortune telling report for me.

Sometimes i think that fortune telling's accuracy is self fulfilling. When a person is put in a position first to believe whatever the master says, then what the master projects into the future will be taken for real and the person will just live that prophecy, further reinforcing the accuracy.

 

I rather not know too much and do my best everytime.

Just my 2cents worth of opinion, actually we should also listen to the negative points and see if there is any chance we can avoid or if not mitigate them.

He actually went for a few months of Monkshood to improve the undertanding of Buddhism, etc; that's one of the thing I really respect him!

must see what type of negative points,exp;my fren was told that this year better dun gamble,his monetary luck is not good [shakehead] ,knn,luckily he didn't listen,so far his prize $ won (4D)so far is a low 6 digits sums [lipsrsealed] .but if for me,the fortunte teller told me this,i will not stop buying,but bet lesser [laugh].

I agree. I have an uncle who is quite a reputable fortune-teller/medium in M'sia.

So he is not a buddhist monk.

 

I was initially very curious to find a Buddhist Monk doing feng shui. I feel most of his stuff is taoism and not buddhism.

Thanks for the info. From your point of view, is he doing all these primarily to help people or is his primary purpose commercial?
