seems like our tastes go beyond skoda. Got myself a focus, came into this thread and saw your Mondeo..... [laugh]

My previous ride was a Mondeo III. Nothing major except engine mount bushing wearing out fast.

 

Enjoyed every moment during the 3 years I own it.

 

What problems are you facing ?

Do not overfill your header tank (radiator plactic tank) it will crack and leak. I changed twice over the four years ownership.

It is an enjoyable car....warranty item failed, naggy stuffs like tensioner, signal lights with water and vucuum tube. Fuel guarge intermitten.

Guess, we got great taste....presently in Dubai awaiting for my flight to Mexico.

 

Oh...I got the Ford Mondeo technical and service manual, if you like, will send to you.

rattling panels....irritating and thinking of using superglue to stick the suspected pieces tight...hahah

 

loud v6 engine...very slight vibration when stationary...definitely not refined..

 

slight leak from areas around oil sump..waiting for AD to bring in parts to replace

 

Despite all that...and the fact that its a oil guzzler....handling is [thumbsup]

thanks but unless its similar to focus don't think it'll help much.

i'm just worried about the gear shift cable connector. from http://www.fordclubsg.com it seems to be a mandatory occurence

and whatever are you doing in mexico in these times? researching h1n1?

Mexico, business as usual...Mine is an auto, the system in many ways are the same.

 

By the way, are you still in Siberia island.

Yes, yes, you are absolutely right. Don't recall seeing any insects, like roaches there, even though I have leave some food behind....ever wonder why.
