I have multiple strategies :

1) Maxtor 320GB for Time Machine for my MacBookPro

2) NAS which has 2 x 1TB HDD (mirrored) which stores my important stuff/Photos/Videos etc etc

3) Amazon S3 storage for important stuff/Photos

1) In case my laptop HDD crash

2) Redundancy for 1)

3) In case house burn down or got robbed etc etc, all important data is still safe at off-site location (cloud).

:)

So how much storage is this "Amazon S3 storage"? And how much it cost?

I got a 30g, 60g and 160g 2.5 portable hdd. The 160g is only half full. Last pc show I bought hitachi 320g for $89.90 with 2 pouches and still have not use it.

Storage is really getting cheaper and cheaper .... [thumbsup] [thumbsup]

But the thing is that ... most people don't have backup like our friend does.

I think I should start to look at having a RAID liao.

There is no limit to the space you can use. You only pay for the space you used and the badwidth consumed:

Storage

$0.150 per GB
