Rickster 5th Gear October 30, 2008 Share October 30, 2008 (edited) With price of crude currently at US$70/barrel. It has risen significantly from a low of just under US$60/barrel just a week ago. Will taxi fuel surcharge stay? Will we see the greedy cartels raising the pump prices by 5cents this week or next? Rickster 5th Gear October 30, 2008 Author Share October 30, 2008 My guess is that the 21% increase in power bills will be maintained and the garment will use this excuse of not to reduce it any further.

Will taxi fuel surcharge stay? Will we see the greedy cartels raising the pump prices by 5cents this week or next? The fundamentals hasn't change. So price would probably go down. It looks more like a technical rebound to me now. But frankly, I'm hoping ecnomy will not slide into a serious worldwide recession.

Rickster 5th Gear October 30, 2008 Author Share October 30, 2008 Our cartels have a very good track record of increasing petrol by 3cents/l the moment crude moves up by US$5. Their response time to price increase: 48hours.
Rickster 5th Gear October 30, 2008 Author Share October 30, 2008 Yea, I'd rather crude stay at US$100/barrel than to have it at US$50 = global recession.
