David Clutched October 30, 2008 Share October 30, 2008 I thought the technical term is called montage but I could not find it. What I want is to put a series of photos together, say on a paper or mug. Is this available in any photo editing sw or seperate buy? Thank You. ↡ Advertisement
Ah_tee 2nd Gear October 30, 2008 Share October 30, 2008 if you are talking abt joining graphics together i think one of those which can do it is photoshop, however its not very straightforward to use a lesser powerful as its not meant to do graphic editing is power point
Ichibawa 5th Gear October 30, 2008 Share October 30, 2008 Maybe you can try Picasa from Google. Search for a function called collate.
Boyboy 1st Gear October 30, 2008 Share October 30, 2008 photo shop can do it. u can dl or buy it cheap as the other bro has said, power point or even MS word can do it, but really not ideal. if u want to print it on a mug, the printer may be able to help u do the montage. i have an idea which is for u to simply present the photos as soft copy to the printer. but u have the "layout" hand drawn on a paper as to how u wanna do the montage on the mug, then he can arrange it for u. i have used photoshop elements (came free with my scanner or camera) to do a montage. it's very basic software compared to real PS but good enuff for simple jobs
Madsumm 1st Gear October 30, 2008 Share October 30, 2008 Try the Adobe Lightroom 2. Very very good for printing and its pretty professional results you get there. Its much cheaper then Photoshop as well. A lot of resource for Lightroom, especially printing. http://www.photoshopuser.com/lightroom2/ Register, its free. All my online portfolio pics are made with Lightroom, including printings. Rgds
Madsumm 1st Gear October 30, 2008 Share October 30, 2008 (edited) BTW, after creating the "photo montage" with Lightroom 2, you can export to a JPG which you can take and go to a printer to print on mugs or anything you fancy.... W2K_83 1st Gear October 30, 2008 Share October 30, 2008 If you are talking about normal photo editor like photoshop, u can try paint.net. Its a freeware spin-off from photoshop by ex-creators of photoshop. ↡ Advertisement
